About

Hey hey! My name is Ansel Mills, I use any pronouns, and I’m a Brooklyn-based actor and performer originally from Bozeman, MT. I received my BA in Acting from Oberlin College, during which time I also studied with the British American Drama Academy in London. I have also attended intensive trainings in physical theater with Teatr ZAR at the Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw, Poland, as well as in the Viewpoints in Marfa, TX. I have a deep passion for building deep connections and resisting loneliness in our communities, and strive to bring a sense of "home" to all of my work. Most recently, I performed as Mr. Legs in Infinite Leg at the Target Margin Theater, I worked as a clown in the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center’s summer Tiny Theater in MT, performed in Bindle Wireless Playhouse’s Nickel Road Annie radio show (coming to Spotify soon!), as well as played the role of Konstantin in Bozeman Actor’s Theater’s production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull. I spend my free time practicing Mandarin, writing songs with my family and friends, and catching up on all the tv shows I keep getting recommended!
